Yes, daily food tracking is essential during the Exploration, Fat Loss, and Reverse phases. Tracking allows you to understand exactly how much you're eating, identify patterns, and make data-driven adjustments to your macros. Without accurate tracking, it's impossible to know whether your progress (or lack thereof) is due to your actual intake or other factors. Once you reach Maintenance and have developed a strong intuitive sense of portions and your body's needs, you can transition to less rigorous tracking while using the guardrails you've learned.
